Stephanie Holdmeier

Licensed Clinical SOCIAL WORKER

About me… What do you want to know about me…?

My name is Stephanie Holdmeier and I have the gift of processing human stories and honoring the human experience. As a therapist, I have the amazing opportunity to be a witness to people’s lives, their struggles, successes and everything in between. My work is my passion, and I could not see myself doing anything other then partnering with people as they discover how to thrive in their lives.

Since starting my professional career in 2007, I have been given the opportunity to work with people through all spans of life, prenatally through end-of-life care. These experiences have allowed me to widen my perspective and view of life resulting in the acknowledgement that each person’s human experience is unique, valuable and complex.

While I work with all adults, I have a special interest in a few specific areas such as managing anxiety by building internal self-regulation and resiliency. I enjoy supporting people as they navigate life transitions including during and after college, parenting, those who are trying to figure out who they are as an adult and the LGBTQIA+ population. Another passion is working with people in helping professions such as therapists, counselors, social workers, teachers and school administrators.

In session, I utilize multiple, research-based therapeutic modalities because one size does not fit all. Typically, most sessions will involve Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) paired with a solution focused, strengths-based approach to process how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors affect your life experience. At the end of every session, you will leave with specific and individualized strategies to work on with the intent of helping you gain the quality of life you are looking for.
