Making yourself a valentine, or writing something positive about your self is a GREAT way to practice self care. Who better to give a Valentine to then yourself?!?!

It may seem awkward, or pointless at first, but give it a try. Spending a little time focusing on what you appreciate about yourself can do wonders for your brain and your self-concept. When was the last time you told yourself how much you appreciated you, or what you appreciate about yourself or your life? The more you focus on the positive, good things in your life, the more your brain will look at them. If you just focus on the negative or things that are missing, your brain will look for that instead. The choice is up to you regarding where you want to shine the light.

Now is the time! Get out a piece of paper and something to write with and get to work. You got this!
